Reviewer Guidelines
A Peer Review provides a basis for the editors' decision to either accept or reject a manuscript and guidelines for the authors to improve their manuscript. Reviewers are, therefore, requested to provide in-depth, critical and detailed feedback.
The following may serve as basic guidelines for reviewers to provide an effective review.
- To acquaint themselves with the author’s submission guidelines. Click Here for the Author's Guideline
- To go through the Peer-Review Rubric before reading the manuscript to understand the material parameters of the review.
- To flag the problematic areas within the manuscript such as language, structure, arguments, relevance, references etc.
- To provide comments within the manuscript, clearly specifying the observations and suggestions for improvements. Please ensure that the comments within the manuscript appear anonymous.
- To ensure that the Peer-Review Rubric is duly filled and signed.
- Within the comments section of the Peer-Review Rubric, provide comments indicating:
- The manuscript's strengths and weaknesses
- Reasons for accepting or rejecting the manuscript, whatever the case.
- In case of acceptance subject to major or minor changes, the changes that the author should incorporate.
